Girlfriend of Klarisse de Guzman Expresses Pride After Singer Comes Out
CHRISTRINA REY – The partner of Klarisse de Guzman shared her thoughts after the singer publicly came out as bis*xual during an episode of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
It was recently when Klarisse opened up about her s*xuality, revealing that she identifies as bis*xual. In her heartfelt revelation, she also shared that she has been in a relationship with her girlfriend, Christrina “Trina” Rey, for four years.
Trina, deeply moved by Klarisse’s courage, shared her emotional reaction during an interview with ABS-CBN News. “Super proud nung last night nung napanood ko. I can’t help, naiyak po talaga ako. Finally freedom na naibigay kay Klang after how many years,” she said.

According to Trina, Klarisse’s coming out was not pre-planned. They had talked about it before Klarisse entered the PBB house, but there was no certainty about whether she would come out publicly. Trina was already content with their private setup, especially since both of their families were supportive and accepting.
Trina revealed that Klarisse had been struggling with keeping things secret, especially when asked about her personal life in public. “Siguro hirap na rin po siya at hirap na ring magtago. Kasi binabanggit niya sa akin na ‘pag tinatanong siya hindi na niya alam kung ano ang isasagot. Dinadaan na lang niya sa jokes,” Trina said. The two met on Instagram in 2020 and became official a few months later. Though their relationship has not always been easy, Trina said their bond grew stronger over time.

After Klarisse’s announcement aired, Trina posted on social media to express her love and support. “I AM PROUD OF YOU [Klarisse de Guzman]! I’m always here, always! I’ll wait u here sa outside world. Love Wins,” she wrote, adding a heartfelt message about embracing and celebrating Klarisse just as she is.
Many of Klarisse’s fellow housemates, including Michelle Dee, also expressed their support. Michelle, who came out as bis*xual in 2023, said she could relate to Klarisse’s fear of coming out, especially in the public eye.
