Gene Padilla Shows Off His ‘Mr. Uninvited’ Tattoo

Mr. Uninvited Tattoo of Gene Padilla Sparks Attention

GENE PADILLA – The comedian proudly showed off his new ‘Mr. Uninvited’ tattoo following the recent controversy involving his niece, Claudia Barretto’s wedding.

In a video shared on social media, Gene was seen getting a tattoo on his arm that reads “Mr. Uninvited.” He captioned the post simply, “PPa-tattoo ko nalang… Ganun din naman…….. ‘Mr. Uninvited’”. The nickname emerged after it was revealed that he was not invited to the wedding.

The issue started when Gene’s brother, Dennis Padilla—Claudia’s father—voiced his disappointment about not walking his daughter down the aisle. Gene later shared his thoughts, which drew more attention. In response, Claudia’s mother, Marjorie Barretto, defended her daughter in a lengthy interview.

She addressed Gene directly, saying, “You were not invited to the wedding,” and explained that Claudia did not have a close relationship with him. Marjorie also mentioned that Gene traveled from Bulacan to Alabang, even though he wasn’t expected. Instead of helping calm Dennis, she claimed Gene’s actions only made the situation worse.

Gene chose not to continue the conflict. After posting the tattoo video, he shared a message expressing his wish for peace: “It’s okay if you say hurtful things. You don’t know me, and I don’t know you — but I still choose to send you love, peace, and prayers for healing.” Dennis Padilla later expressed support for his brother in the comments, saying Gene had done nothing wrong.

Meanwhile, Gene Padilla is an actor and comedian known for his work in both television and film. He has appeared in shows and movies such as Crush Kong Curly, Hello, Universe!, Lovely Ladies Dormitory, High (School) On Sex, and I Love You, Beksman. He is the brother of actor-comedian Dennis Padilla and the son of the late veteran actor Dencio Padilla, who was known for his sidekick roles to Fernando Poe Jr. and other prominent Filipino stars.
