GARDO VERSOZA – The veteran actor drew attention online after posting a message that raised concern among his followers, following the passing of National Artist and beloved actress Nora Aunor.
On Facebook, Gardo shared a photo from a scene in the television series Onanay, where he appeared alongside the late Nora Aunor and the late actress Cherie Gil, who passed away in 2022. The post was captioned, “Mukhang ako na ang next ah,” accompanied by a few horror-themed emojis.
Although the remark may have been intended as a joke, many fans did not take it lightly. Instead, it sparked concern, with several expressing their worry for the actor’s well-being. Supporters urged him to take care of himself, leaving comments such as, “Pray, stay safe, and healthy,” and “Uy, wag po ganyan…madami ka pa mapapasaya na mga tao.”

Meanwhile, in a separate post, Gardo paid tribute to Nora Aunor, referring to her affectionately as “mare” and writing, “Paalam mare…hanggang sa muli.” His message reflected his deep respect and admiration for the iconic actress, with whom he shared a long professional history.
Despite the sentiment behind his tribute, the earlier post suggesting he might be “next” left many fans anxious.
