The image resurfaced after fans were on the lookout for her at the wedding of her friend, Claudia Barretto, to Basti Lorenzo—Mateo’s younger brother. While Erich didn’t attend the event, a photo taken back on June 28, 2023, emerged, showing her and Mateo, both dressed in white, inside a church with Mateo’s parents, a priest, and a baby.
The priest who originally posted the photo revealed that the child, named Jose Mateo, was the couple’s firstborn. Though the post was eventually taken down, it had already spread widely, with screenshots circulating on social media and sparking further discussion. Prior to this, the couple had remained very private—Erich even mentioned in a 2019 vlog that she preferred to keep her family life away from the public eye.
Meanwhile, Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco, popularly known as Erich Gonzales, is an actress who rose to fame after winning Star Circle Quest Season 2 in 2005 at the age of 14. Following her win, she adopted her mother’s maiden name as her screen name and became a regular in various ABS-CBN programs under Star Magic.
Her breakout role came in 2009 with Katorse, which propelled her to stardom.
