Senator Imee Marcos Endorsed by Doc Willie Ong
DOC WILLIE ONG – The doctor and popular vlogger has officially endorsed Senator Imee Marcos for the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.
In a Facebook post shared on Tuesday, April 22, Doc Willie expressed his full support for Senator Marcos, highlighting her six years of consistent support for patients with heart and kidney problems.
According to Ong, Senator Marcos has been actively helping the “Heart Warriors”—a group of patients, particularly children, suffering from congenital heart defects—as well as individuals with kidney-related illnesses. Because of this ongoing advocacy, Ong said he is confident that she will continue to help more people if re-elected.
“Buo ang suporta ko kay Sen Imee Marcos para sa Senado. Marami siyang matutulungan,” Ong wrote in his post.
Senator Marcos quickly responded with a heartfelt message of gratitude, also shared on Facebook. She expressed deep appreciation for Ong’s endorsement, stating that it was more than just political support—it was a reaffirmation of the shared cause they have both championed through the Heart Warriors Foundation.
“Doc Willie, from the bottom of my heart—thank you so much. Your endorsement means more than words can say,” Marcos said. She added, “Hindi lang ito suporta sa kandidatura ko—it’s a reaffirmation of the bond we built through Heart Warriors Foundation, a cause that literally gave life and second chances to so many.”
It is worth noting that in February, Doc Willie Ong officially withdrew his senatorial candidacy to focus on his health. The 2025 midterm elections are scheduled for May 12, 2025.
