Arrest Warrant Issued for Archie Alemania
ARCHIE ALEMANIA – A warrant of arrest has been issued against the actor in connection with an acts of lasciviousness case filed by Kapuso actress-singer Rita Daniela.
According to a GMA News Online report on Wednesday, April 2, the Bacoor City Muntinlupa Trial Court – Cities Branch 2 released the arrest warrant. Alemania is allowed to post bail, which is set at ₱36,000.
The court determined that there was enough evidence to proceed with the case, citing the complaint affidavit, investigation data, and other relevant documents. “After a careful evaluation of the information, the resolution, investigation data form, the complaint affidavit of the complaining witness, and other pertinent documents, the court finds probable cause to hold the accused for trial,” the court stated.

The court also noted that since Alemania remains at large, an arrest warrant was necessary. Before March 2025 ends, the Bacoor City Prosecutor’s Office recommended filing the case against Alemania after reviewing the evidence and witness statements.
The complaint was initially made public in October 2024, when Rita Daniela accused Alemania of inappropriate behavior at a party hosted by actress Bea Alonzo. The event was a celebration of the success of their teleserye, Widow’s War.

In response, Alemania submitted a counter-affidavit to dispute the allegations. As of now, Alemania has not released any statement regarding the case.
Meanwhile, acts of lasciviousness refer to any unwelcome physical contact or suggestive gestures made without consent, often involving coercion, intimidation, or deception. Under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines, this offense is punishable by imprisonment or fines, with stricter penalties if committed against a minor. Unlike more severe offenses, it does not involve explicit acts but still constitutes a violation of a person’s dignity and rights.
