Survey Shows Bong Go as Top 2025 Senate Candidate

BONG GO – The senator is currently leading the 2025 senatorial race, according to the latest survey released by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) on April 21. The survey shows that Go, who is seeking re-election, garnered the highest voter preference at 45%, placing him at the top of the list of potential winners in next year’s midterm elections.

Coming in second is ACT-CIS Party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo with 43%, followed by Senator Lito Lapid in third place with 34%. Former Senate President Tito Sotto and Senator Pia Cayetano both received 33%, tying them for the fourth and fifth spots. Senator Bato dela Rosa secured sixth place with 32%.

Meanwhile, Senator Bong Revilla and broadcaster Ben Tulfo are tied for seventh and eighth place, each receiving 31% voter preference. Also making it to the top 12 are Makati City Mayor Abby Binay (29%), Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar (28%), former Senator Ping Lacson (26%), and former Senator Manny Pacquiao (25%).

Just outside the top 12 are TV host and comedian Willie Revillame and Senator Imee Marcos, who are tied for 13th and 14th place with 24%. Former senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan landed in the 15th and 16th spots with 21% each. Actor Philip Salvador and former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos both received 18%, tying them for 17th and 18th place.

The Stratbase-SWS April 2025 National Survey was conducted from April 11 to 15 through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters nationwide. The 2025 midterm elections are scheduled for May 12, 2025, during which voters will elect 12 senators, members of the House of Representatives, and local officials.
