Archie Alemania Denies Acts of Lasciviousness Allegations
ARCHIE ALEMANIA – The actor has pleaded not guilty to the acts of lasciviousness charge filed against him by singer-actress Rita Daniela. Archie formally submitted and swore to his counter-affidavit at the Bacoor City Prosecutor’s Office in Cavite. This step is part of the ongoing preliminary investigation into the case.
According to a report aired on 24 Oras on the evening of April 29, 2025, both Archie and his lawyer declined to give any public statement regarding the not guilty plea. The fiscal also did not reveal the details of Archie’s counter-affidavit, although it was confirmed that most of it consisted of denials of Rita’s accusations.
The court granted Archie’s legal team’s request to keep the case details private and not discuss its merits publicly.

Meanwhile, Rita’s legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, stated that they are doing their best to prevent any personal encounter between Rita and Archie in order to protect the singer-actress’s mental well-being. “She’s not okay,” Garduque said, referring to Rita’s condition following the incident, which allegedly took place in September 2024.
Earlier this month, on April 2, 2025, the Municipal Trial Court Branch 2 in Bacoor City, under Presiding Judge Mary Rocelyn P. Lim-Guillano, issued an arrest warrant against Archie Alemania. The judge said that after reviewing all submitted documents—including the complaint affidavit and investigation data—there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.

The court noted that since the actor was not yet in custody at that time, a warrant of arrest was necessary. However, Archie was allowed to post bail amounting to ₱36,000 for his temporary release while the case continues to move forward through legal channels.
