Alynna Velasquez Asks Netizens to Stop Attacking and Blaming Hajji Alejandro’s Family

Alynna Velasquez Pleads for Respect Toward Hajji Alejandro’s Family

ALYNNA VELASQUEZ – The longtime partner of the late OPM icon Hajji Alejandro made a heartfelt request to netizens, asking them not to attack or blame Hajji’s family.

Her plea came after she shared a tribute to him on April 22, 2025, at the Eastwood Walk of Fame. She explained that, due to “reasons beyond her control,” she couldn’t attend his wake at Heritage Memorial Park. Instead, she chose to honor him by placing flowers and a candle by his star at the Walk of Fame.

On April 26, Alynna posted a photo of her tribute on Instagram and clarified that she never intended for it to go viral. She simply wanted to honor the man she loved in a quiet, personal way. She made it clear that she wasn’t blaming anyone and hadn’t pointed fingers at any relatives who might have prevented her from attending the wake. Despite her intentions, the post sparked a debate online, with some people offering kind words and others passing harsh judgments.

In response to the controversy, Alynna asked her followers not to attack Hajji’s family. She acknowledged that, while some family members respected her, there were others who didn’t accept her. She accepted this and took responsibility for her own mistakes. Alynna also shared that her biggest regret was allowing others to interfere in their relationship, which led to wasted time. She urged her followers to appreciate those who love the people they care about, as life is too short.

“Dear friends and followers, please don’t attack or blame the family. There are some members who respect me and those who hate my existence. It’s just my destiny and predetermined path. And I am also defective at times. For these, I apologize. My biggest regret is I let some people interfere with our lives. So many wasted time. Life is just so short. Love the people who love the people you love,” Alynna Velasquez said.

During this difficult time, several public figures, including actress Claudine Barretto, sent their condolences and support to Alynna.
