Sexy Babe Contestant Clueless About Comelec
SEXY BABE – A 20-year-old contestant from the It’s Showtime segment has caught the attention of social media users after admitting that she does not know about the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and has never voted.
During the show’s weekly finals on February 28, contestant No. 4, Heart Aquino, was asked during the Q&A portion, “Ano ang mensahe mo sa Comelec?” Heart candidly responded, “Sorry po, hindi po ako masyadong knowledgeable about sa Comelec.”
The hosts, surprised by her answer, asked how old she was, to which she replied, “20 po.” Vice Ganda reacted, “Oh my gosh, that’s bothersome.” Co-host Kim Chiu then asked if she had ever voted, and Heart admitted that she had not.

Kim encouraged her to vote in the next election, while Vice pressed further, asking if she had never heard of Comelec on TV, in newspapers, or on social media. Heart explained, “Wala po kaming TV. Hindi po rin masyadong lumilitaw sa Facebook.”
Vice then asked who was responsible for her lack of awareness, and Heart laughed before saying, “Ako po.” Jhong Hilario took the opportunity to educate her, explaining that Comelec is responsible for organizing elections in the Philippines.

The episode quickly went viral, with many netizens expressing their disappointment and concern. Some questioned how someone her age could be unaware of Comelec, while others pointed out the broader issue of political disengagement and the state of education in the country.
Some users viewed the situation as a reflection of a larger problem, with one saying, “Watching the trending video of a SexyBabe who is not aware what COMELEC is/does made me sad. It only proves na may ilang taong walang initiative to learn about the current issues in PH.” Others emphasized the responsibility of individuals to be informed voters, sharing their own experiences of being encouraged by their parents to register.
