Van Carrying Robin Padilla Involved in an Accident in the Netherlands
ROBIN PADILLA – The senator shared that the van he was riding in was involved in an accident in the Netherlands on Friday, March 21, 2025 (Philippine time).
In a Facebook post, Padilla assured the public that he and his companions were safe and unharmed despite their vehicle being hit by another car. He expressed gratitude for their safety, saying, “Maraming Salamat po Ya Allah sa pagligtas ninyo po sa amin sa isAng tiyak na kapahamakan Alhamdulillah rabil aalameen. Hindi namin napansin isang kisapmata binangga kami sa aming gilid subhanaAllah naging steady lang si kapatıd na Dindo sa manibela. Hindi kami gumewang o tumama sa island kundi tataob kami.”
Padilla had been in the Netherlands since March 14, 2025, along with Vice President Sara Duterte and former presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque. They attended the pre-trial proceedings at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for former President Rodrigo Duterte, who faces charges of crimes against humanity.

Despite the accident, Padilla emphasized that no one was injured, and they were able to continue their activities as planned.
Meanwhile, Robin Padilla is an actor, film producer, and politician known for his action movies and television roles. He was born on November 23, 1969, and earned the nickname “Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema” due to his roles in action films during the 1990s. Some of his notable movies include Anak ni Baby Ama, Grease Gun Gang, Bad Boy, and Maging Sino Ka Man.

Aside from acting, Robin Padilla is also involved in politics. In 2022, he was elected as a senator of the Philippines, topping the elections with over 26 million votes. He is known for his strong support of federalism and charter change in the country.
