MALACAÑANG – The Palace reacted to the claim of Vice President Sara Duterte that she was allegedly “scammed” during the 2022 Elections.
The Marcos-Duterte feud is something that many Filipinos did not see coming. The people gave different opinions amid the Vice President leaving the cabinet of the Chief Executive and throwing tirades against him. She also apologized for endorsing him during the 2022 Elections.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte were a tandem during the 2022 Elections. The BBM-Sara ticket wooed the people through their platform of unity and continuity. Following the election, the Vice President was appointed to lead the Department of Education (DepEd) but she left her post when she resigned from the Marcos cabinet.

According to Vice Pres. Duterte, there is no point of return on her relationship with Pres. Marcos. As for the Chief Executive, “never say never”. In several occasions, the Vice President has expressed apology to the people for endorsing Marcos Jr. during the 2022 Elections. She also expressed regret.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte made a claim that she was allegedly “scammed” during the 2022 Elections for believing they are in the platform of unity and continuity. Without naming anyone, the Vice President said she thought he is after a better country through their platform.
Vice Pres. Duterte advised the Filipino voters to really check on the platform and accomplishments of the candidates and to not base their vote on the candidate’s last name. Her advice is contrary to Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ advice to the voters to avoid candidates who are “all talk”.

Recently, Malacañang reacted to the claim of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte that she was allegedly “scammed” during the 2022 Elections. Based on a report on GMA News, the Palace pointed the claim back at the Vice President.
