Maja Salvador: “Nag-separate ways kami with respect naman”
MAJA SALVADOR – The actress confirmed that actor John Lloyd Cruz is no longer part of her talent agency, Crown Artist Management Inc.
She revealed this during the renewal of her contract with beauty brand Beautéderm at Solaire Resort North in Quezon City. According to her, it was John Lloyd’s decision not to have show business as his main job because he’s focusing on taking care of his son, Elias.
“Si Lloydie po, nung buntis ako, sabi niya, ‘Maj, hindi naman ako nagtratrabaho.’ So nag-separate ways kami with respect naman,” Maja said. “Nade-decline rin po ‘yung mga magagandang projects kasi focused din siya kay Elias. Hindi rin naman [siya] active now din po.”
Maja also revealed that actress Miles Ocampo is no longer associated with her talent agency, which just celebrated its 4th anniversary.
In other news, Maja reacted to a question about protecting her daughter’s privacy while highlighting the dangers of AI-generated photos. According to the celebrity mom, whenever a celebrity posts pictures of their child on social media, it will attract criticism and internet hatred.
“Inosente ‘yung mga bata tapos iba-bash nila. Hindi ko na lang ise-share kung iba-bash lang naman nila,” she said.
The actress also admitted that she had previously become a workaholic, but she recognized the value of family time after getting married to her husband, Rambo Nuñez, and having her daughter, Mutya.
She even considers her husband and her daughter to be significant sources of inspiration in her personal life. Maja revealed that she experienced “mom guilt” while preparing for her return to Kapamilya variety show “ASAP”.
The celebrity mom shared that her dream has always been to be a mom. And now that she is a mother, she said that her admiration for her mom has grown exponentially.
When asked if she ever worries about losing her fame after being out of the spotlight for nearly 3 years, the actress said to ABS-CBN News that she’s not scared of losing it because she’s ready to become a wife and a mother.
“Kahit wala akong teleserye or pelikulang ginagawa, ang laking bagay na kasi ng social media. Hindi ako natakot kasi siguro ready akong magpakananay at maging isang asawa,” she said. “Ang tagal kong dinasal na magkaroon ng sariling pamilya at maging isang nanay, at ibinigay sa akin. Napakasuwerte ko lang din po talaga na may mga nagtitiwala pa rin sa akin. Ang pinaka nami-miss ko ay ‘yung umarte.”
