Buboy Villar and New Partner Fire Back at Criticism
BUBOY VILLAR – The actor and his girlfriend took to social media, sharing cryptic messages amid the allegations made by Buboy’s ex-partner, Angillyn Gorens.
Recently, Buboy publicly introduced Isay as his new partner and the mother of his third child during a podcast episode with Tuesday Vargas, which also coincided with his 27th birthday on March 21.
Following this revelation, Angillyn Gorens and her sister, Veybillyn Gorens, aired their grievances on social media. Veybillyn accused Buboy of neglecting his children, pointing out that he had not visited them for a month but suddenly did so after facing backlash. She expressed disappointment that, despite their mother being in the U.S., Buboy—who remains in the Philippines—was not spending enough time with his children.
Meanwhile, Angillyn responded to netizens questioning her as a mother. She explained that she had remained silent for a long time but felt compelled to speak up after their children were repeatedly mentioned in interviews. “Cause they keep using my kids on their interviews and their statements are far from the truth. Edi sumabog na ako,” she said.
Amid the controversy, Buboy and his current girlfriend, Isay, posted cryptic messages on social media. Buboy wrote, “Ayaw ko nalang mag talk.”
Meanwhile, Isay shared a quote on her Instagram Stories, saying: “There’s beauty in privacy. Read that again. Resist the temptation to publicize your life on social media. Everything isn’t meant to be on display. Keep things away from the public eye which can easily turn into the evil eye. People can’t destroy what they don’t know.” She added: “ps. Alamin muna ang totoo bago maniwala sa tsismis. Godbless.”
As of this writing, Angillyn Gorens has yet to respond to Buboy and Isay’s cryptic posts.
