DJ Jellie Aw Speaks on Public Apology of Jam Ignacio
JELLIE AW – The club DJ responded to the appeal of her fiancé, Jam Ignacio, saying that their wedding will not push through.
Last February 14, reports about Jam and DJ Jellie hooked the online community. On Valentine’s Day, the club disc jockey filed a complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against her fiancé for allegedly physically hurting her.
DJ Jellie Aw appeared with bruises in her face. Prior to it, a social media post claiming that the club disc jockey was hurt by Jam inside a vehicle took the social media platforms by storm. Allegedly, an RFID not scanning gave the DJ an opportunity to seek help.
Following the incident, DJ Jellie filed a complaint to NBI against Jam Ignacio over alleged assault. The businessman was missing in action for a few days since the incident went viral on social media. When he appeared, he had an exclusive interview with GMA News.
Jam Ignacio apologized to DJ Jellie Aw. According to the businessman, their physical scuffle allegedly stemmed from a simple misunderstanding and he probably ran out of patience. He also believes that their stress for being out the entire day might have added to the situation.
Also, Jam apologized to the mother of Jellie, her siblings, and friends. He specifically mentioned her mother whom he called “Ma” and said she knows that he really loves her daughter. He vowed that it will never happen and asserted that he wants their wedding to push through.
Jam Ignacio publicly tried to convince DJ Jellie Aw that they continue with what they had plan which is to build a life together. He stressed that he knows that they really love each other.
On February 21, amid the absence of Jam at the NBI hearing over the complaint filed by DJ Jellie, his lawyer stressed that his client is making efforts to reconcile with his fiancée so they can push through with their plans. Attorney Oscar Karaan said that the issue can be settled between themselves and there’s no need to be feasted upon online.
Recently, DJ Jellie Aw broke her silence on the public apology of Jam Ignacio. Based on a report on GMA News Balitambayan, the club disc jockey told GMA Integrated News that she has forgiven Jam but she will push through with the case.
According to Jellie, Jam’s excuse for doing it is never acceptable. She raised the possibility that it may happen again if she will give him another chance. She stressed that her mother was traumatized by what happened.
“Hindi puwede yung napuno lang siya e. Paano kung pinagbigyan ko siya ng second chance, kapag napuno siya ulit sa akin, gagawin niya ulit yun. Mas grabe pa,” the DJ said.
Based on the report, DJ Jellie Aw said that there will be no more wedding. She stressed that their plans will not push through and it is out of respect to her mother who cries every night over what happened.
“Wala nang kasal na magaganap, ‘di na matutuloy ang mga napag-usapan po namin,” DJ Jellie said.
