Former Comedian Kuhol Now Sleeps in a Multicab
KUHOL – The former comedian is now homeless and sleeping in a multicab.
Philip Supnet, better known as the comedian Kuhol, was once a popular figure in 1990s television and movies. However, at 67 years old, he is now facing serious challenges. Separated from his wife and without a permanent home, he currently sleeps inside a small multicab in his neighborhood.
In an interview with journalist Bernadette Sembrano, Kuhol shared how difficult his situation has become. Without a job or a stable place to stay, he is forced to ask for money just to afford food. “Wala na po akong trabaho, wala rin pong matutuluyan, kaya kahit nakakahiya, nagagawa kong humingi ng kaunting tulong sa mga tao,” he admitted.
Despite these struggles, Kuhol still hopes to return to the entertainment industry. He wishes to be noticed by actor-director Coco Martin, who is known for helping former actors by giving them roles in his projects, such as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Many netizens have expressed sympathy for Kuhol, with some hoping that kindhearted individuals will step in to help. He remains hopeful that a new opportunity will come his way.
However, Kuhol’s past is also marked by controversy. In 2018, he was arrested for allegedly kissing his 10-year-old godchild on the lips. According to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, Kuhol—who was 58 years old at the time and a resident of Barangay North Fairview—was taken into custody after the child’s family filed a complaint.
Reports stated that the incident happened inside Kuhol’s store on Axtell Street, Barangay North Fairview. Investigations revealed that he invited the child inside, held them, and kissed them on the lips. Afterward, he allegedly told the child to stay quiet and return the next day. According to police records, Kuhol did not deny the accusation and later apologized to the child’s family.
