Car Driver Got Into Heated Argument w/ Street Vendor Due to Overpriced Bottled Water
OVERPRICED PRODUCT – A car driver got into a heated argument with a street vendor over the overpriced bottled water.
Overpricing refers to the act of selling a product or service at a price higher than its fair market value or reasonable cost. This often happens when sellers take advantage of certain situations, such as high demand, lack of competition, or limited availability of goods.
Overpricing can lead to dissatisfaction among customers and may even be considered unethical or illegal in some cases, especially during emergencies or crises.

Recently, the Facebook page “Ride with Zen TV” shared a video footage of a heated argument between a car driver and a street vendor after the driver questioned the high price of a small bottled water. The post garnered various reactions from the internet users.
In the video, the driver was stuck in traffic when he noticed a street vendor selling various items. He called the vendor over and asked if there was any bottled water available. The vendor handed him a small bottle and informed him it cost P50.

The vehicle driver questioned the vendor, stating that the same bottled water only costs P10 at a supermarket. The driver felt the markup was unreasonable and decided to return the bottle. However, the vendor refused to take it back and insisted the driver pay for it.
The disagreement leads to an intense exchange of words between the two. The driver stood firm in his argument about the price being too high, while the vendor defended his pricing, refusing to back down.
The video has a caption:
“Ikaw na bumili ikaw pa napapagalitan ng nag titinda”
The caption humorously pointed out how the customer, despite being the one to make a purchase, ended up getting scolded by the vendor.
