Lady TikToker Goes Viral Over Hilarious Search for Actual Ice Cream in Fridge Full of Tubs
A lady TikToker amused viewers with her attempt to find real ice cream in a fridge packed with ice cream tubs.
An ice cream tub is a container used to package and store ice cream. These tubs are typically made of plastic or cardboard and are designed to keep the ice cream fresh while making it convenient to scoop and serve.
They come in various sizes, from small personal tubs to large ones for families or parties. Often found in freezers, ice cream tubs are commonly used for branded and store-bought ice cream.
Recently, a TikTok user from Laguna, Alliah Joy Pages, shared a video of her trying to find actual ice cream in a freezer packed with ice cream tubs, but most of them were filled with meat and fish instead. The video garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, Alliah humorously explained her struggle. Her mother didn’t inform her about the ice cream flavor they bought, leaving her to guess which tub actually had dessert.
As she opened one tub after another, she kept finding frozen meat and fish, common storage hacks Filipino households use to reuse containers. It took her opening around four tubs before finally discovering the one with ice cream inside.

Many Filipinos are familiar with the dilemma of opening a reused ice cream tub and finding something completely unexpected inside.
The video shows the creativity and resourcefulness of Filipino households while also serving as a reminder of shared quirks in daily life that bring people together.
The video has a caption:
