Business Partner of Ken Chan Resurfaces Amid Syndicated Estafa Case

RYAN KOLTON – The business partner of actor Ken Chan, has reappeared on social media after more than a year of silence. Ryan, a close friend of Ken, is also involved in the ongoing syndicated estafa case filed against Ken and five other individuals.

Ryan made his return to Instagram on January 22, 2025, posting a photo of a bouquet of red roses with the caption, “tho your blood stains my white roses. cheers to you. I’m back #fyp.” He followed this post with a selfie, in which he was topless, accompanied by the caption, “Take two, take three, I’ll give you four.”

Ryan and Ken are business partners in Café Klaus, an establishment owned by Ken. Ken’s sudden departure from the showbiz scene is linked to his involvement in a serious legal case, leaving his current whereabouts uncertain. Ryan, who had also been inactive on social media, was speculated to have left the Philippines. Fans and netizens have been asking Ryan about Ken’s current situation, but he has yet to provide answers.

There have been rumors suggesting a strain in the friendship between Ken and Ryan due to financial issues, but the two continue to follow each other on social media. Both Ryan and Ken filed a motion for reconsideration in August 2024 regarding the charges against them. However, their request was denied by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court. In November 2024, authorities attempted to serve an arrest warrant to Ken at his home, but he was not present.

Ken and his co-accused are facing charges of syndicated estafa for allegedly failing to return the investment of a Filipino-Chinese businessman who had invested 14 million pesos in restaurants. The businessman claims Ken failed to meet the promised returns and monthly interest.
