Rufa Mae Quinto and Trevor Magallanes are Allegedly Facing Marital Issues
RUFA MAE QUINTO AND TREVOR MAGALLANES – Social media has been abuzz with screenshots allegedly showing private conversations between the actress-comedienne and her husband. The messages hint at serious marital issues after eight years of marriage.
Adding fuel to the fire, a police report surfaced showing a “Trevor Magallanes,” identified as a Japanese national, arrested in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 6, 2024, for criminal trespassing. While the age matches that of Rufa Mae’s husband, it’s unclear if they are the same person or if Trevor is indeed Japanese.
Speculations about their troubled marriage have circulated for some time, but Rufa Mae has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors. This marital issue coincides with Rufa Mae’s recent involvement in an investment scam, which led to a warrant for her arrest.
On December 9, 2024, Boy Abunda addressed the controversy on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” mentioning the circulating screenshots and police report. He confirmed they are working with Rufa Mae’s lawyer, Atty. Mary Louise Reyes, to clarify the situation. “Kung ano ang developments sa balitang ito ay ibabahagi ho namin sa inyong lahat,” he assured.
Rufa Mae and Trevor have lived in the U.S. since their marriage in November 2016. Trevor works as a police officer there. After giving birth to their daughter in February 2017, Rufa Mae stayed in the U.S. but frequently returned to the Philippines for projects. In 2024, she extended her stay in the Philippines due to numerous engagements, including LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines and judging on It’s Showtime’s “Kalokalike.”
Currently, Rufa Mae is back in the U.S., awaiting legal guidance on her pending case. Her legal team is expected to release a statement soon, shedding light on the allegations involving her and her husband.
