MURA – The comedian moved into his newly finished home and expressed gratitude for the support he received from various individuals, including vloggers.
Mura is an actor and comedian known for his work in television and film. He has dwarfism and began his career as a ball juggler before transitioning to acting in 2002. He adopted the stage name “Mura” and became widely recognized for his comedic roles, often paired with Mahal, another comedian with dwarfism. He appeared in numerous films, including Volta (2004) and Agent X44 (2007), and television shows like Magandang Tanghali Bayan and Supertwins (2007).
His career faced challenges after a 2010 tricycle accident, which caused lasting leg injuries. Despite this, Mura has remained positive and expressed interest in returning to show business. In recent years, he has worked as a farmer in Bicol. He experienced a devastating house fire in 2024 but continues to inspire others with his resilience and optimism.
Mura couldn’t contain his happiness after moving into his newly built house. The comedian expressed gratitude for the support he received from various individuals, including vloggers. Mura recalled the emotional experience of losing his previous home in a fire, which left him with almost nothing. With the help of kind-hearted people, he managed to get back on his feet and now has a new place to live.
Although he still wishes to return to acting, Mura shared that his knee condition prevents him from doing so. Despite the challenges, he remains thankful for the blessings in his life and stays positive. His new home stands as a symbol of his recovery and resilience, serving as an inspiration to those who continue to support him.
Previously, Mura sought public assistance after being abandoned by his relatives. “Kapatid ko, pinabayaan na ako. Ganito na ‘yung sitwasyon ko,” he said. “Kaming dalawa ni Papa, pinabayaan na,” he added.
