Camp of Apollo Quiboloy Claims Pastor has Dental Implant Infection
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – A Pasig City Court approved the request of the Pastor for an extension of his medical furlough.
Pastor Quiboloy, the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, is currently under the custody of the Philippine National Police following his arrest in September. He is faced with several charges and has been into hiding for several months prior to his arrest.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) even conducted intensified search operations inside the KOJC compound to find the Pastor. The PNP operations reportedly included drilling activities inside the compound. According to Quiboloy’s legal counsel, Attorney Israelito Torreon, the “surrender” of the Pastor is an ultimate sacrifice.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is detained at the PNP Custodial Facility in Camp Crame. However, currently, he is out from his detention room following an approved medical furlough. Pastor Quiboloy was previously brought to the hospital due to irregular heartbeat.
Following the said instance, the camp of Quiboloy sought medical furlough which was approved by the Court. The Pastor was brought to the Philippine Heart Center.
The Philippine National Police also previously confirmed that Pastor Quiboloy was brought to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center from the Philippine Heart Center for some tests but was brought back to the PHC after it.
Recently, the camp of Pastor Quiboloy confirmed that they sought for an extension of the medical furlough of the detained KOJC Founder. According to Atty. Israelito Torreon, the Pastor has an infection in his dental implants.
Recently, a Pasig City Court approved the request of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy for an extension of the medical furlough. Based on a report on GMA News, the Court approved the extension of the medical furlough until Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Atty. Israelito Torreon confirmed that it was a high discussion but the Court approved their camp’s request for an extension of the medical furlough of the Pastor. However, based on the report, the legal counsel of Quiboloy refused to discuss the granted request in details.
“As to the details of which, I cannot disclose because I think you know the nature of the proceedings of this case,” Torreon said.
Based on the report, the hearing of the case against Quiboloy will be continued on Friday at a Pasig City Court. Previously, his camp appealed for a hospital arrest but it was denied by the Court.
Pastor Quiboloy is running for senator in the 2025 Elections. He is running as an independent candidate after he revoked his Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA).
