CARLOS YULO – The viral Outfit of the Day (OOTD) of the two-time Olympic gold medalist has sparked interest, revealing not just his style but also the significant cost of his ensemble.
On September 29, 2024, Yulo shared an Instagram post showcasing his outfit, which included a crop top and Louis Vuitton accessories. The post attracted various reactions, with many male personalities stepping forward to show off their own crop top outfits. However, Yulo stands out due to the reportedly high price of his attire.
According to the online fashion magazine Preview, Yulo’s outfit breakdown reveals impressive figures. His Adidas crop top, a trending piece, is estimated to cost around ₱2,082, drawing attention from the official Adidas Instagram account, which commented, “Gold medal fit!”
The luxury continues with Yulo’s accessories. The LV bag slung across his body is valued at approximately ₱179,228. Additionally, the LV coin purse he carries is estimated to be worth ₱22,524. Rounding out his look are black Adrian Leather Platform Tassel Loafers, priced at around ₱10,081.
Meanwhile, Carlos Edriel Poquiz Yulo, known as Caloy, is a prominent artistic gymnast. His gymnastics journey began at the age of seven and quickly progressed through the ranks, joining the national team in 2018. He has garnered international acclaim as a two-time Olympic champion, winning gold medals in the floor exercise and vault at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Yulo is notably the first Filipino and Southeast Asian gymnast to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, with a bronze in 2018, and he became the first to win gold at this event in 2019.
His impressive medal record includes multiple accolades: two golds, two silvers, and two bronzes at the World Championships; ten golds at the Asian Championships; and nine golds at the Southeast Asian Games. Yulo’s dedication and skill have earned him a total of 23 gold medals across various competitions.
