Duck Goes Viral for Catching Two Snakes in Davao del Norte
A duck has become a viral sensation after it caught and ate snakes in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
A duck is a type of bird commonly found near water, such as ponds, lakes, rivers, and wetlands. Ducks are known for their short legs, webbed feet, and broad, flat bills, which they use for feeding. They belong to the family Anatidae, which also includes geese and swans.
They feed on a variety of foods, such as plants, small fish, insects, and even small animals, depending on the species. Ducks are found all over the world and are known for their distinctive “quacking” sound, although not all species quack. They are also farmed for their meat, eggs, and feathers in many parts of the world.
Recently, Analyn Aragon, a Facebook user, shared a video of a duck eating two venomous snakes in Davao del Norte. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited comments from the netizens.
The first video was showing the tail of a cobra hanging from the duck’s beak. Although they tried to pull the snake away, its body had already been severed, leaving only part of it in the duck’s mouth.
Initially, Analyn and her husband were frightened when they saw the duck with the snake. They feared for the duck’s safety, expecting it to get bitten. However, they were shocked when the duck not only survived but also made the snake its meal.
A few days later, the duck caught another snake, and once again, Analyn was able to capture the moment on video. This second incident only added to the duck’s growing fame.
The videos quickly gained attention on Facebook and garnered over 4 million views. Many people were both amazed and amused at how the duck handled the snakes, a sight they don’t often expect from such a bird.
The viral post continues to spread, with viewers amazed at the duck’s bravery and its surprising ability to deal with snakes. For Analyn and her family, the unexpected predator in their yard has definitely brought a mix of fear and surprise.
