Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Wants KOJC Members to be Strong
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The Pastor has arrived at the Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) and he gave a short message for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ members.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) authorities conducted intensified search operations at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City in the pursuit to arrest Pastor Quiboloy. It gained different reactions from the netizens.
There are individuals who supported the search for the high-profile individual while there are those who believe that the PNP authorities allegedly went beyond what is allowed in their search. After more than two weeks of intensified ops at the KOJC compound, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was arrested by the PNP.
Quiboloy is faced with charges not only in the Philippines but as well as in the United States. He is currently under the custody of the Philippine National Police. Previously, the camp of Pastor Quiboloy revealed their plan to seek for the transfer of his custody or a house arrest.
Currently, the assets of the Pastor and the KOJC is under a Freeze Order which was extended by the Court of Appeals until February 2025. Amid the legal battles, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte assumes the control on the bank accounts and the properties registered under the name of the Pastor.
It is no secret to the public that PRRD and the Pastor are close friends. The latter is close to the Duterte family and he even gifted the former President a house. Vice President Sara Duterte also apologized to the KOJC members for seeking their support for Marcos in the 2022 Elections.
Sara and Bongbong were runningmates in the latest national election. However, the intensified search inside the KOJC compound which included drilling operations happened under the Marcos administration.
Recently, the PNP authorities brought Pastor Apollo Quiboloy to the Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC). His co-accused were also brought to the Court and, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Pastor was the last to be brought inside.
According to the report, as the PNP authorities escorted Apollo Quiboloy at the Court, the media had the chance to ask the Pastor about his message for the KOJC members. Here’s what the Pastor said:
“Tatag lang, tatag lang,” Pastor Quiboloy said.
Following the arrest of the Pastor, the Department of Interior and Local Government or DILG spoke on what will happen to the reward money offered for the whereabouts of the Pastor. Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos previously announced a P10 million reward ready to be given “by friends”.
