CRISTIANO RONALDO – The football superstar received his Gold Play Button on the same day he launched his YouTube channel.
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, from Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, is a highly acclaimed professional footballer known for his forward position. He currently plays for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League and captains the Portugal national team.
Ronaldo is celebrated as one of the greatest footballers of all time. It became the fastest channel to hit these milestones and surpassed Portuguese Nick Jr. to become the most subscribed channel in Portugal, also setting a record for the most subscribers gained in one hour.
Meanwhile, gold play buttons are given to channels that reach 1 million subscribers, while the Diamond play button is awarded for 10 million subscribers. Channels with 50 million subscribers receive the Custom Creator award or custom play button. The Red Diamond play button, a rare accolade, is presented to channels that achieve 100 million subscribers.
