Carlos Yulo and Family to Receive P5M from Chavit Singson
CHAVIT SINGSON – The former Ilocos Sur Governor has announced that he will gift P5 million to Carlos Yulo, the world-class gymnast and two-time Olympic gold medalist, as a tribute to both Yulo’s achievements at the 2024 Paris Olympics and the unity of his family.
Singson emphasized that the reward is not just for the medals Yulo brought home but also as recognition of the strength and togetherness of the Yulo family, which he views as a fundamental part of Carlos’s success.
“In offering this reward, I hope to send a powerful message that the success of an individual is never solely their own. It is shared by those who stand by them, offering love, guidance, and unwavering support,” he shared.
Singson further explained that the P5 million gift will be accepted by the Yulo family and Carlos’s partner, Chloe San Jose, as a united front. He highlighted that family is the foundation of a person’s success and that the values upheld by the Yulo family are a testament to this. By offering this reward, Singson hopes to convey the message that an individual’s success is shared with those who offer love, guidance, and unwavering support.
Additionally, Singson expressed his hope that his gesture would inspire more Filipino families to value their unity and continue supporting each other through both triumphs and challenges.
