This speculation started after a Facebook post by “Vivamax Philippines,” which appeared to offer Yulo a lifetime free subscription to their service.
The original Facebook post congratulated Yulo for his impressive achievements and said: “Salamat, Caloy! We are very MAX proud of you! After mo sumabak sa laban, deserve mong mag-VIVAMAX AND RELAX! Sagot na namin ang lifetime subscription mo.” This announcement was widely shared and reported by the sports news website “Fastbreak,” catching the attention of fans and media.
However, the post was later edited, and the mention of the lifetime subscription was removed. As of August 8, 2024, the caption now reads: “Salamat, Caloy! We are very MAX proud of you! After mo sumabak sa laban, deserve mong mag-VIVAMAX AND RELAX!” This change led to a lot of playful comments from people who saw the original post. Some joked about the “lifetime free viewing” and commented on Vivamax’s handling of “premium” content, showing a mix of amusement and curiosity.
Vivamax’s subscription plans cost ₱69 per week, ₱169 per month, and ₱1,420 per year, according to their website. The platform offers a range of content from VIVA Films, catering to various tastes.
Despite the excitement online, neither VIVA Films nor Vivamax has given a clear explanation about the lifetime subscription offer. There has been no clarification on whether the offer was a marketing stunt, a mistake, or an actual benefit. The official Facebook page of VIVA Films has not addressed the issue, leaving the true nature of the offer unclear and sparking ongoing speculation.
