Student Receives Rude Response from School to Inquiry
An incoming Grade 11 student shared her disappointment over the rude response she received from a school regarding her friend’s enrollment inquiry.
Recently, Mavi Sol, a former student of Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial National High School (JZGMNHS), took to Facebook to share the unprofessional reply from Biñan Integrated National High School (BINHS).
In her post, Mavi explained that she and her friend, both from JZGMNHS, were unfamiliar with the enrollment process at BINHS. To clear up their confusion, she decided to reach out to the Grade 11 STEM corner page of BINHS for guidance.
However, the response they received was not what they expected. Mavi shared a screenshot of the conversation, pointing out a particularly offensive remark from the page admin.
The admin had said, “We always have problems with students from your school,” which Mavi found unnecessary and hurtful. The admin also questioned the authenticity of Mavi’s friend’s inquiry, adding to their dismay.
“Nagtatanong lang naman po kami. Wala rin naman pong karapatan ang admin na sabihing hindi real friend ang kaibigan ko. Sana mas maging professional naman po kayo,” Sol wrote.
Mavi acknowledged that they might have made some mistakes in their inquiry but emphasized that they deserved to be treated with respect and professionalism.
“Magiging student din naman po kami ng school ninyo. We only wanted to clear out our thoughts po, concerned student lang po kami, kaso nakakabastos naman po yung way ng pag respond nila. Sana ma-address po ito,” the uploader said.
Many expressed support for Mavi and her friend, criticizing the admin’s unprofessional behavior. Some urged the school to take action and ensure such incidents do not happen again.
