Zanjoe Marudo, Ria Atayde Set To Welcome Baby in September
RIA ATAYDE, ZANJOE MARUDO – Former Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chief Liza Diño revealed the gender of the baby of the celebrity couple.
Among the celebrity couples who are expecting a baby are Zanjoe and Ria. Both celebrities are quite away from the showbiz limelight now and are visibly focusing on the coming of their eldest child — is it a boy or a girl?
Zanjoe and Ria started as friends. Both of them are close to Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and their circle would often go out together. It was in January 2023 when the actor confirmed that he is dating the daughter of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez.
In February, news that Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde are engaged broke out. Countless people were very happy for the celebrity couple. However, it came along with rumors and speculations that Ria was already pregnant with the Zanjoe then.
Neither Ria nor Zanjoe spoke to confirm or deny the rumors. Ria’s sister, Gela Atayde, debunked the rumors and speculations that the actress is pregnant but confirmed that the couple is trying to have a baby.
Last March, Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde officially tied the knot. They got married in an intimate civil wedding ceremony. Their immediate families were present at the wedding. It was followed by a star-studded reception at the Concept Space Manila in Congressional Avenue, Quezon City.
Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, LA Tenorio, Dominic Ochoa, RK Bagatsing, and Jane Oineza were among the celebrities who were present at the wedding reception of Ria and Zanjoe. Last June, Ria confirmed her pregnancy with Zanjoe.
Recently, a surprise baby shower event was held for the celebrity couple who are expectant parents. Among those who were present were Ice Seguerra who is close to Sylvia Sanchez and his wife, Liza Diño.
Through a social media post, Liza Diño shared that Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo are expecting a baby boy. The couple is expected to welcome their baby in September which is also the birth month of Ice. Here’s her post:
