JUDE BACALSO – The controversial LGBT writer deleted his post regarding the issue of allegedly forcing a waiter to stand for two hours for being called “sir.”

Bacalso, a member of the LGBT community, earlier took to social media to share his side of the story. It started after a certain John Calderon shared on social media an incident where he saw Bacalso allegedly forcing a waiter to stand for two hours after being called “sir.”

Calderon shared that when he inquired whether Bacalso was the owner or a customer, Bacalso sarcastically told him to ask the waiter. The waiter clarified that he had mistakenly misgendered Bacalso. Calderon condemned Bacalso’s actions and voiced his disappointment, noting that such behavior was detrimental to the LGBTQ community.

The restaurant, Ulli’s Streets of Asia, issued a statement expressing deep concern, stating that they have spoken with the waiter involved and the team to provide support and brief them on the situation. The restaurant assured that they are focused on educating their staff and prioritizing their welfare.

They apologized to their patrons, acknowledged their concerns, and promised to enhance the customer experience. Ulli’s Streets of Asia stressed their respect for all individuals, including the LGBTQIA+ community, and reiterated that discrimination would not be tolerated in their establishment.
