Rosmar Tan shared blessings with Jiro Manio
JIRO MANIO – The former actor was thankful for the blessings he received from content creator and businesswoman Rosmar Tan.
Broadcast journalist Julius Babao shared on his YouTube Channel “Julius Babao Unplugged” that Rosmar Tan finally met Jiro Manio in person. With Julius’s help, the two met, and they both enjoyed the encounter, which included a house tour.
It was earlier revealed that a fake Jiro had contacted Rosmar via Messenger seeking a business opportunity. Rosmar shared their Facebook conversation, which was later deleted, confirming the impersonation, as disclosed by showbiz columnist and entertainment vlogger Ogie Diaz.
When Julius and Rosmar asked Jiro if he would accept a job offer, the award-winning actor declined, citing his responsibilities overseeing their store and managing household matters. Rosmar expressed her desire to assist Jiro in returning to showbiz. Jiro explained that his decision depended on his health, as stress was a concern, and he continued with medication to avoid a relapse.
Grateful for finally meeting Jiro, Rosmar showed her appreciation by giving him ₱50,000 worth of Rosmar products for sale in their store, along with an additional ₱10,000 to support his business startup. Jiro was initially hesitant but acknowledged the unexpected blessings from Rosmar. Jiro expressed gratitude for Rosmar’s generosity and humorously thanked the hacker whose actions indirectly led to these blessings and his personal meeting with Rosmar.
Meanwhile, Jiro Manio is a former actor who gained fame for his exceptional performances at a young age. He is best known for his role in the 2003 drama film Magnifico, for which he won multiple prestigious awards, including the Gawad Urian Award for Best Actor at age 12, making him the youngest recipient of this accolade. He also received the PMPC Star Award for Movie Actor of the Year, FAP Award for Best Actor, and FAMAS Award for Best Child Actor, achieving the Philippine movie grand slam.
Jiro started his acting career as a child, earning recognition for his roles in Bagong Buwan (2001), Mila (2001), Foster Child (2007), and the popular film Ang Tanging Ina (2003) and its sequels. Raised by his grandfather following the death of his Filipina mother, Joylene Santos Manio, and his Japanese father, Yusuke Katakura.
