Reward for Missing Beauty Queen Geneva Lopez and her Israeli Boyfriend Now PHP350K

REWARD FOR MISSING BEAUTY QUEEN – Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has added PHP100,000 to the reward money initially offered by Yitshak Cohen’s family for any credible information on the whereabouts of Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend, who have been missing since June 21, 2024.

Geneva, representing Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, in Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2024, mysteriously disappeared along with Yitshak after reportedly visiting Capas, Tarlac, to inspect a piece of land.

Yitshak’s family had previously offered PHP250,000 for any leads on their location. In an exclusive interview with GMA Regional TV on June 27, Joe Cohen. the brother of Yitshak expressed optimism about their safety, stating their belief that they are still alive and appealing to the public for assistance.

The Israeli embassy in the Philippines is coordinating with local police regarding Geneva and Yitshak’s disappearance. In a statement released on June 27, 2024, the embassy affirmed its awareness of the case and its confidence in the Philippine National Police and government’s efforts to resolve the matter effectively.

In response, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has established a special investigation task group named ‘SITG Genesaac’ to locate Geneva Lopez and Yitshak Cohen. Led by PNP Chief General Rommel Marbil, the task force includes specialized units such as the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Highway Patrol Group, Anti-Cybercrime Group, and Forensic Group, underscoring the seriousness with which authorities are treating this case.

The case has sparked concern both locally and internationally, drawing attention to the safety and security of individuals involved in public life. The ongoing efforts by authorities and the community reflect a concerted attempt to resolve the situation swiftly and ensure the well-being and safe return of Geneva Lopez and Yitshak Cohen.
