Details on Arrest of Co-Accused of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in Davao City
CO-ACCUSED OF PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – A co-accused of the Pastor was arrested in Davao City as per a source from the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
Currently, the police authorities are searching for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. He went into hiding after the Senate released an arrest order against him since he skipped the Senate hearing.
There are several allegations against Pastor Quiboloy including an alleged violation of the law that gives special protection to children. He is the founder and the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Church which has several members in the Philippines and in abroad.
Since the arrest order was released against Pastor Quiboloy, he is nowhere to be found. The police authorities have raided his properties including those in Samal Island and in Davao City but they failed to serve the arrest warrant.
Currently, a reward money is up for information that can tell the whereabouts of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy as well as his five (5) co-accused who are namely:
- Paulene Canada
- Jackielyn Roy
- Cresente Canada
- Ingrid Canada
- Sylvia Cemanes
According to the Department of Local and Interior Government (DILG), there are individuals who want to help search for Quiboloy so reward money is currently up. Aside from the cases that he is facing in the Philippines, there were also previous complaints against the Pastor in the United States that “wanted” posters were even released.
Recently, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a source from the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said that a co-accused of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was arrested in Davao City. Paulene Canada was reportedly arrested by the authorities.
