Fans of Vice Ganda are rallying for the removal of actor and former Hashtags member Nikko Natividad from FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
This stems from the cryptic remarks made by Nikko against the It’s Showtime mainstay following the latter’s issue with EXpecially For You contestants Axel and Christine.

NIKKO NATIVIDAD – Numerous supporters of Vice Ganda urged Coco Martin to remove the former Hashtags member from FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
This came about after Nikko criticized Vice for his remarks about EXpecially For You participant, Axel Cruz. Nikko’s critique stemmed from his empathy for Cruz, believing the latter didn’t intend any harm and felt that publicly humiliating him was unnecessary.
“Naawa lang ako sa lalaki na may nagawang mali pero hindi niya talaga intensyon. At syempre dun sa babae,” said Nikko. “Sobra lang kasi napahiya ‘yung lalaki na sasabihan pa na tatadyakan at pwede kasuhan. ALAM KO KASI PAKIRAMDAM NG PINAPAHIYA SA TV AT NAPOPOWERTRIP BASE SA EXPERIENCE KO,” he added.
Nikko’s outspokenness led to disappointment among fans of Vice, escalating to calls for Nikko’s removal from all his projects. Netizens expressed doubt about Nikko’s longevity in the show, suggesting it was a misstep not to show grace and appreciation towards Vice. Two other netizens also joined in, advocating for Nikko’s removal from Batang Quiapo due to perceived attitude issues and potential disruption to filming, given Vice’s close ties with Coco Martin and their shared projects under Viva.
“Bago pa sumikat ang isang Coco Martin at isang Vice Ganda, mag besties na silang dalawa. Sa palagay ninyo, magtatagal yang bit player sa BQ? Wrong career move. Nikko should have demonstrated grace and gratitude towards,” netizen Zen said.
“Sir Coco Martin pakitanggal sa Batang Quiapo si Nikko Natividad. May attitude problem yan baka ma-apektuhan ang taping nyo,” netizen Christopher commented. “Under Viva din si Vice Ganda! Best friend nya si Coco Martin. Ang mga projects ni Nikko ay sa Viva at nasa Batang Quiapo sya Ngayon. Naku Nikko Good luck sa mag INA MO!” netizen Carl remarked.
Despite the criticism, Nikko found support from some netizens who believed that removing him from the project would validate his allegations of Vice’s alleged power abuse.
