Nico Locco Takes a Swipe at Vice Ganda
NICO LOCCO – The Vivamax actor, took to Facebook on Thursday night to throw shade at Vice Ganda.
“EXpecially For You,” a segment on the noontime program It’s Showtime, has been making headlines in the past few days. The controversy between Axel, Christine, and Vice Ganda began on June 3, 2024, when Axel attempted to steal a kiss from Christine. He was called out by Vice Ganda for his behavior. Vice initially expressed his intention to apologize to Axel but later retracted the apology, maintaining that Axel’s actions were inappropriate, despite Christine’s claim that she was not offended.
Vice explained that while they respected Christine’s public statement, she was offended. He emphasized the importance of addressing Axel’s behavior because every woman has the right to object if she feels uncomfortable. Vice maintained that acknowledging Christine’s true feelings was crucial, even if she publicly said otherwise.
Recently, Vivamax actor Nico Locco took to Facebook to take a swipe at Vice Ganda, though he avoided naming specific individuals or shows. He criticized the practice of mocking and belittling others for entertainment purposes, emphasizing that it lacks intelligence and creativity.
Nico said, “Konting rant here kasi l’ve seen it going on for too long. Di ko sasabihin any names here… but i think we all know who l’m talking about. If you have to make fun of people and take personal shots at them palagi to make people laugh, it’s s0000 not funny. Para sa akin, it’s simply a lack of intelligence and creativity. I’m so tired of seeing it pa ulit ulit on tv.
“I won’t mention the show or network that repeatedly does it pero yeah, you know what I mean. Belittling someone to make people laugh doesn’t make you a comedian. It makes you a bully. I would love to see that specific person jump into their shoes for once para maramdaman niya what it feels like. Siguro he or she wouldn’t be laughing anymore,” he added.
