NADIA MONTENEGRO – The actress talked about the long-standing issue regarding her alleged child with Baron Geisler, explaining her side in an exclusive interview with Julius Babao. During the second part of their interview, Nadia did not mention Baron’s name but shared that her family knows the truth, including her late husband, former Caloocan Mayor Macario “Boy” Asistio Jr.

Nadia said she never hid her past from those who needed to know, including her loved ones and Boy. She explained that people often asked how she and Boy stayed together despite the rumors, highlighting that she took steps to deal with these challenges. She stated that she owes no one an explanation for her life choices, saying she has been forgiven by God and that Boy passed away peacefully, knowing they were in a good place. Nadia firmly believes that her children are well-adjusted and that she has not lied to her family.

Boy passed away on February 6, 2017. Nadia shared that they had a deep conversation two weeks before his death, which she considers the most important discussion they had in their 29 years together. Boy encouraged her to fight for their children and reaffirmed his role as their father.

Nadia expressed no regrets about her past, considering her youngest daughter, Sophia, as one of her greatest blessings. She praised Sophia as the “most beautiful girl” and emphasized that she raised her with love and respect for Boy, who provided for and loved her. Nadia dismisses any outside questioning of their family’s integrity and focuses on her hard work and the forgiveness she sought from God.

Despite public talk about Sophia’s resemblance to Baron, Nadia stated that Sophia currently has no interest in a relationship with him. She criticized Baron for making their private matters public while promoting a film. Nadia stressed that their relationship with God and each other has only grown stronger through tough times, and she remains proud of the bond she shares with her children. She concluded by emphasizing the importance of praying for those who thrive on the misfortunes of others.
