There is also one politician who constantly visits Kris Aquino abroad — Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. They had a relationship before but Kris and Mark broke up in 2023. The announcement was made by the actress on social media citing that she wants to lessen the stressors in her life and well-being.
After some time since she announced their break-up, there were rumors that Kris and Mark have reconciled. The Batangas Vice Governor and the actress are also in good communication and it was recently confirmed by Mark during an interview with DZRH.
Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste recently gave a short update about Kris Aquino who is still in abroad for her treatment. Based on an article on Pep, the politician revealed that the actress has just been vaccinated but she did not disclose what kind of vaccine was given to her.
Mark explained that he is not in the position to speak on the current condition of Kris. Meanwhile, she affirmed that she is inspired by her in public service and they got to talk about politics even before he decided to prepare for the governorship of Batangas.
“Ako ay nagpapasalamat nang marami po akong natutunan sa kanya. She is very inspiring, she inspires me, and she continues to motivate me in my work as a public servant,” he said.
Based on the article, the Batangas Vice Governor also emphasized that Kris Aquino came from a political family. He even stressed that the parents of the actress and her late brother, former President Noynoy Aquino, are not ordinary public servants and they have made a mark.
