Ogie Diaz asserts that Marco Gumabao is running for congressman in CamSur
MARCO GUMABAO – Showbiz insider Ogie Diaz confirmed the actor’s alleged candidacy for congressman in the 4th district of Camarines Sur.
Marco is an actor, model, athlete, and entrepreneur. He is the fourth child of actor and politician Dennis Roldan and former It Girl Loli Imperial-Gumabao, and he has three half-siblings. He gained prominence with roles in TV series such as “Luv U” and “Forevermore,” as well as in films like “She’s Dating the Gangster” and “Just the Way You Are.”
He left Star Magic agency in 2017 and signed with Viva Artists Agency in 2018. Notable projects include lead roles in “Para sa Broken Hearted” and the TV series “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos.” Additionally, he has ventured into modeling, notably as the lead model for BENCH/Body, contributing to various magazines and publications.

Showbiz insider Ogie Diaz confirmed the actor’s alleged candidacy for congressman in the 4th district of Camarines Sur. In the June 1 episode of “Showbiz Updates,” Ogie said that Marco often visits the barangays in that area. “Confirm nang tatakbo bilang congressman sa district 4 sa CamSur ang gwapong aktor. Itago natin siya sa pangalang Marco. […] Kasi nga madalas siyang bumababa-baba sa mga barangay,” said Ogie.
“Taga-roon din naman ang mga Imperial, ang mga Gumabao. Si Marco Gumabao. Siya ay nagbababa na doon. Noon pa naman,” he added. The showbiz insider further said: “Kasi ang alam kong dating kuwento ni Marco sa akin, noon pa niya pangarap na maging isang public servant.” However, as of the writing of this article, Marco has not released any statement to confirm or deny the news.
