Eva Darren Invited at Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards 2024 To Receive Award
EVA DARREN – The veteran actress is set to be given the Most Empowered Veteran Actress of the Year award at the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards 2024.
Undeniably, the recent FAMAS fiasco has dragged the name of veteran actress Eva Darren in popularity again. Countless people were disappointed by what happened at the FAMAS Awards Night where the veteran actress was seemingly snubbed at the event she was invited to attend.
Eva was invited to a be a presenter at the 72nd FAMAS Awards which was held at The Manila Hotel. She was also given the script and she prepared for the event. She attended the prestigious awards night with three (3) of her grandchildren.
Based on the claim of her son, the veteran actress and her grandchildren paid Php 5,000 for each plate for the dinner at the event. She does not usually attend the event but she made an exemption with FAMAS which has also awarded her as Best Supporting Actress decades ago. However, the night ended without her being called to be a presenter on stage.
Eva Darren was not in the final program which was followed at the Awards Night. The social media manager of FAMAS claimed that she was not anymore part of the program two days prior to the event because the one who invited her did not confirm her attendance.
Meanwhile, Eva Darren is set to be given an award by another prestigious award-giving body in the Philippines, the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards. Based on an article on Pep, she is set to be given the Most Empowered Veteran Actress of the Year award.
