Dina Bonnevie Recalls Mysterious Experience
DINA BONNEVIE – The veteran actress revealed that she had a near death experience wherein she saw her own body in the hospital bed.
In the Philippine entertainment industry, one of the most popular stars is Dina Bonnevie who is also a multi-awarded Filipina actress. She managed to remain in the showbiz industry until now. She is one of those who are flexible enough in playing roles whether it is bida or kontrabida.
Dina has two (2) children, Danica and Oyo Boy Sotto, with her ex-husband, Vic Sotto. They got married in 1982 but their marriage lasted only for a few years. They separated and one of the reason was the infidelity of the actor-TV host.
Meanwhile, Dina and Vic both have wonderful relationships with their children amid their separation. Both Danica and Oyo also have their own families now and the two (2) veteran stars have several grandchildren now. She also found another love.
Dina Bonnevie found another love in Department of Agriculture undersecretary Deogracias Victor Savellano or more popularly called by his nickname, DV. They officially tied the knot in 2012.
Prior to meeting DV and a romantic relationship blossoming between them, Dina is vocal that at 50 years old then, she was no longer interested to go out on a date. She even prayed to God to meet the man if He wants her to be with someone.
At 62 years old now, Dina Bonnevie remains one of the most beautiful actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry. Having started in showbiz at an early age, many of the milestones in the life of the actress is not a secret to the public. However, one of the things that many people don’t know is that she had a near death experience when she was 23 years old.
Dina Bonnevie recently shared her near death experience during an interview with Amy Austria. According to the veteran actress, she was working hard then promoting her film. After she appeared in the show of Alma Moreno, she felt ill. The veteran actress said that she was allergic to the fume coming from the smoke machine used during the show.
According to Dina, she asked her daughter, Danica, to call her sister as she was not feeling well anymore. However, on the way to the hospital, she already lost her vision and she was having a hard time to breathe.
“Parang nag viviolet na ako — I couldn’t breathe. Pero yung tenga ko gumagana,” she said.
Dina Bonnevie said that the next thing she knew was that the people were shouting and then there was a sudden silence. She did not hear anything and she recalled seeing her sister not paying attention to her. According to the actress, she tried to hold her but her hand went pass her sister’s body.
“Nagulat ako, lumampas ‘yung kamay ko, bakit hindi ko siya mahawakan,” the actress said.
Dina Bonnevie went on to share that she looked at the monitor and there was flat line. She also saw her own body in the hospital bed. She panicked and got scared. The veteran actress also shared that she went out from the long tunnel and it was an experience of “pure peacefulness and calmness”. She also saw everything that happened in her life.
Dina said she asked to talk to her daughter and that was when she was brought back to life. According to the actress, she did not share about it in the past as she does not want that other people may think she’s crazy.
