Cristy Fermin Reacts to Cyber Libel Case Filed by Dominic Roque

Cristy Fermin gives her reaction to the case filed by Dominic Roque

CRISTY FERMIN – The entertainment columnist has reacted to the cyber libel case filed by Dominic Roque against her.

Dominic was added to the list of celebrities who filed a cyber libel case against the showbiz columnist. The case was based on some malicious statements and innuendos made by Cristy on her YouTube channel “Showbiz Now Na.”

It can be recalled that Dominic’s ex-fiancée, Bea Alonzo, first filed a case against Cristy and Ogie Diaz, along with their co-hosts on their online shows. According to Bea’s complaint affidavit, she was a victim of malicious and baseless accusations from a basher who claimed to be close to her, which were then aired on Cristy and Ogie’s online programs.

Fermin, speaking to GMA News Online, mentioned she learned about Dom’s case through messages from GMA. She stated it’s his right and she’ll wait for the subpoena. Regarding Bea’s case, they haven’t started yet and haven’t received the subpoena. Fermin emphasized it’s their right, and they’ll see what happens when they respond.

Karapatan niya ‘yon, OK lang ‘yon,” Fermin said.

Dominic and Bea got engaged in July 2023, but in February of this year, news broke out about their breakup. A few weeks later, Dominic and Bea confirmed their separation through separate Instagram posts. The celebrity couple was supposed to get married in 2024.
