Boss Toyo received an offer to enter politics
BOSS TOYO – The businessman and social media personality, whose real name is Jayson Luzadas, shared about the persuasion he allegedly received to enter politics.
He mentioned as per the report of ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, June 11, that he received an offer to run as a councilor in District 1 of Manila. “Tama ka na may offer sa District 1 sa Manila bilang councilor. Isa ‘yon sa mga offer. I’m still thinking. Newbie tayo diyan kaya titingnan muna natin kung ano ba ‘yong kaya nating gawin. Mahirap magpaasa ng mga tao kung hindi natin mapu-fulfill ‘yong mga ibibigay natin sa kanila,” Boss Toyo said.
Boss Toyo mentioned that he has received multiple offers for different positions and is considering his options, emphasizing that public service is his passion. In fact, according to him, even before gaining popularity, he has been initiating charity efforts in Smokey Mountain and Happyland.
He expressed that his motivation for helping others, stemmed from his difficult experiences when he did not receive assistance. Now, if he has the means and resources to spare, he believes in extending help to those in need.
However, despite his newfound fame, he claims that his character and demeanor remain unchanged. He asserts that what people see on social media is how he truly is in real life. Apparently, his decision on whether to enter politics is still unclear.
Meanwhile, Boss Toyo, known by his real name Jayson Luzadas, is the main buyer and a featured personality in the Filipino reality TV show “Pinoy Pawn Stars.” In the show, he assesses and negotiates deals for various items brought in by sellers looking to pawn or sell their belongings. He gained popularity for his shrewd bargaining skills and interactions with sellers on the show.
