Veteran News Anchor Arnold Clavio Suffers from Hemorrhagic Stroke

ARNOLD CLAVIO – After suffering from hemorrhagic stroke several days ago, the veteran news anchor has to undergo therapy.

More than a week ago, countless people were left worried after news reports about Arnold suffering from hemorrhagic stroke crossed the surface. He was driving when he realized that he can no longer feel his feet and arm so he looked for a fuel station where he can stopped by.

According to Arnold, he went to the comfort room of the gas station to check himself in the mirror. However, he also had a hard time getting to the comfort room as he can barely walk. After checking himself, he went back to the car and drove carefully to the nearest hospital.

Arnold Clavio was diagnosed with hemorrhagic stroke. He was transferred to St. Luke’s Medical Center where he’s confined. Recently, he gave updates about his health condition. According to the veteran news anchor, The medical team of the hospital from the Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) decided to transfer him to a regular room last June 14, 2024.

Dr. Vincent Valencia, the cardiologist of Igan, expressed that “the worst is over” in the case of Igan. However, the veteran news anchor knew that it will be a quite long journey to recovery. Neurologist Greg Dayrit advised the veteran news anchor to rest for six (6) weeks and undergo rehabilitation and therapy for him to regain his strength.

Arnold Clavio has started with his therapy. He started with little movements moving his hands, arms, thighs, and feet. Because of the bleeding in the left side of his brain, the veteran news anchor feels weakness in the right side of his body.

According to Igan, his blood pressure and blood sugar level also had to be lowered so he was given an insulin and medications to lower his blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Based on the post, the affected part of his brain is the thalamus area which is in-charged in sending motor and sensory signal to the cerebral cortex. It has the control over sleeping and the alertness of the body.

Arnold Clavio expressed that his rehabilitation may take a month up to six (6) months. Meanwhile, he is confident that with the prayers of countless people and God, he can recover from the health situation.
