Carnapping, or the theft of motor vehicles, has become a prevalent crime not only in the Philippines but also in many parts of the world. It involves stealing cars, motorcycles, trucks, or any other type of motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
This crime has serious consequences for both the victims and society as a whole. For the victims, losing their vehicle can cause financial hardship, inconvenience, and emotional distress. It affects their daily lives and may even affect their livelihoods if the vehicle is important for work or business.
