Lindsay Custodio Speaks on Unexpected Events during Wedding with Frederick Cale
Lindsay Custodio, a former actress and singer, recalled the alleged unexpected and traumatizing events during her wedding day with Frederick Cale.
The wedding is a magical event for most women — but not in the case of everyone. There are bride who experienced unexpected events like what Lindsay claims to have happened to her on the day that she officially tied the knot with her second husband, Frederick Cale.
Lindsay Custodio, one of the cast members of the 1992 youth-oriented show Ang TV, was married to Tanauag, Batangas former Vice Mayor Julius Caesar Platon II. It was in 2000 when they officially tied the knot and their 18-year marriage was blessed with two (2) children, Sean Christopher and Marianne.
However, in November 2018, the politician unexpectedly died in a car accident. After four (4) years, Lindsay decided to officially tie the knot with a businessman, Frederick Cale, whom she has also known for years.
Based on a report on Pep, Frederick and the late husband of Lindsay, Julius, have courted her at the same time then but the actress chose and married Julius. After his death, the former actress and Frederick became a couple until he asked her if she will marry him — which she did twice.
On May 1, 2022, Lindsay Custodio and Frederick Cale officially tied the knot in a civil wedding ceremony. After more than a week, in May 13 of the same year, the couple had their church wedding. However, according to the former actress, it was then when she had unexpected and traumatizing experiences.
Based on the article, Lindsay claimed that after the church wedding ceremony, Frederick asked her that they must pass by a bank along the Kamuning Road in Quezon City on their way to the reception. He wants to deposit the cheques that were gifts of some of their principal sponsors to their joint account to use it for the payment of their wedding expenses.
However, according to Lindsay, at the bank, her husband also asked the teller about her personal bank account. Despite her plea not to withdraw the money from her personal bank account, her husband asked her to do so and the money was used to pay for the credit card bill for the expenses of their wedding.
“Nagulat ako, pero I was composed kasi nahihiya ako dahil ang daming tao sa bangko. Baka makunan pa kami ng video dahil nakasuot pa nga ako ng wedding gown,” the former actress said.
