Bea Alonzo and Heart Evangelista started their showbiz careers with Star Magic, the talent management division of ABS-CBN. After years of appearing in television, film, and hosting projects as Kapamilya artists, Heart transitioned to the Kapuso network in 2008.
Since then, Evangelista has become one of the respected talents of GMA-7. Despite temporarily stepping away from acting, she has remained committed to the Kapuso network.
In contrast, Bea Alonzo made the transition to the Kapuso network in 2021, marking twenty years since her debut as part of Star Magic Batch 10, alongside Dennis Trillo, who has also joined GMA-7. Last year, Heart and Bea had a reunion at a gathering organized by former Star Magic head Johnny Manahan.
Reports indicate that both past and present stars from the Kapamilya talent agency gathered to reconnect with Mr. M and celebrate his belated birthday. Following the event, Heart and Bea spent some quality time together, with Bea later sharing photos of their day at the Aivee Clinic.
