Brenda Mage: “Di daw ako bagay para sa event dahil di angkop sa mga kabataan”
BRENDA MAGE – The comedian and former PBB housemate backed out of a show after being told he was not suitable for the youth.
Bryan Roy Tagarao, or popularly known as Brenda Mage, is a beauty pageant contestant, comedian, and actor. He adopted his screen name from Chavit Singson’s name-calling of Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago as “brain damage.”
His showbiz career started when he joined a reality show for comedians via GMA-7 in 2011. In 2018, he joined Ms. Q and A Season 2. But before that, he was a comedy bar performer in Japan. After placing 3rd runner-up in Ms. Q and A, his career started to thrive as a TV host and in teleseryes.
He also joined the reality show Pinoy Big Brother via Kumunity Season 10, in which he finished as the fifth big placer. He is now a full-time vlogger and has been posting different kinds of content.
Brenda shared his experience regarding a scheduled show he was supposed to perform. According to Brenda, his face was already posted for the event in their area, so he was very surprised when a wealthy sponsor of the event spoke to him.
The comedian and former PBB housemate is currently making rounds online after backing out of a show upon being told he was not suitable for the youth. He was told that he did not fit the show because he was not suitable for the youth. Because of this, Brenda decided to back out of the scheduled performance.
“Yung nakapost na yung mukha ko para sa Event ng lugar nila.. tapos sasabihan ka ng Mayamang Sponsor ata nila na Di daw ako bagay para sa event dahil di angkop sa mga kabataan.. edi Back out ako hahaha nahiya ako bigla baka maimpliqensyahan ko ng di maganda ang kabataan sa kanila mukhang Good example panaman yung nag post ng mukha ko inyo na yang show nyo sayang ang ganda ko pa naman sa Poster hahaha,” he said.
