BONGBONG MARCOS – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said he missed two dates with his wife Liza Marcos. He vowed to make up for it.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos exchanged marriage vows on April 17, 1993, at the San Francesco Convent in Fiesole, Italy. They have been blessed with three sons: Ferdinand Alexander Marcos, who holds the position of Senior Deputy Majority Leader, Joseph Simon Marcos, and William Vincent Marcos.
In a recent vlog post in February, the couple revealed their practice of dedicating time for a weekly date night. In the same video, Bongbong Marcos stressed the significance of direct, face-to-face communication for couples, highlighting it as a cornerstone for building a resilient relationship.
On Monday, Bongbong Marcos Jr. acknowledged missing two planned dates with his spouse, First Lady Liza Marcos, expressing his commitment to making up for the missed occasions. During an impromptu interview in Bacolod City concerning his dedication to date nights with the First Lady, the President stated, “Dalawa na miss namin ang date namin. So, kailangan akong mag-ano, kailangan akong babawi pag-balik ko galing sa States. Nagtatampo na sa akin.”
Based on a report from Inquirer, Marcos is set to participate in a trilateral meeting with President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in the United States from April 11 to 13, affirming his intention to prioritize making amends for the missed dates upon his return.
Following their official engagements, which included a working visit to Germany and a state visit to the Czech Republic, both members of the First Couple experienced symptoms resembling those of the flu.
