A netizen was caught by his mom watching a volleyball game without permission after he was flashed on TV.
A TikTok user named Echan Deinla from Paco, Manila, found himself in a hilarious situation after getting caught watching a volleyball match on TV without his mother’s knowledge. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
Deinla explained how he ended up being busted by his mom while innocently tuning in to a televised volleyball game. It all started when Deinla’s mother asked about his location, but he missed her message as they rushed off to support their friend, Selga, who plays for the Ateneo women’s volleyball team.
“Nag-ask mom ko kung nasaan ako pero ‘di ko nakita yung message niya. Then, nanonood pala sila ng game rin to support Thea (Selga),” Echan said.
However, he did not know that the camera happened to capture him seated in the front row, catching his mom’s attention. His mom suddenly thought she saw someone who looked like Deinla, so she panicked and took a picture.
After that, his mom called him, and that’s when he got busted.
“Yung seat na nakuha ko is nasa pinakaunahan, so nahagip ako nung camera. Tapos si mama bigla daw siyang may nakitang kamukha ko, so nag-panic siya tapos pinicturan niya. After that, tumawag na siya and all tapos ayun buking,” he added.
The latter quickly became a source of entertainment for netizens, who couldn’t help but laugh at his mother’s unexpected discovery. The story serves as a reminder of the unexpected twists of life.
